The Nobel Monument in New York City
Inscription Ceremony 2004
On October 19, 2004, the names of the American Laureates 2003 were inscribed on the Nobel Monument. The occasion was celebrated with a ceremony.

The program featured speeches by Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe, Consul General of Sweden Ambassador Kjell Anneling and Professor Roderick MacKinnon, recipient of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2003. 4th grade students from Rodeph Scholom School participated in the program by performing "We can change the world".
